About the event
This a great opportunity for children 14 and under to write code and get it run in International space station.
Astro STEM Labs instructors will help the children to participate in this . This event is free of cost.
The code created by the participants is going to do three things on a Raspberry Pi computer on the ISS:
- Show a message.
- Display an image on the screen.
- Measure the relative humidity aboard the space station.
Programs that are successfully submitted are guaranteed to run in space! In addition, each team member will receive an electronic certificate recording the exact start and end time of their program’s run on the ISS — a personal piece of space science history to keep!
